I agree. I am not advocating illegal file sharing, but I think that a small amount doesn't hurt. Oh what am I saying... whatever. I HATE PIRATE BAY NOW!

You know, I bought a copy of Office 2008 for Mac a month or so ago, and it felt good. I believe that the people who make the software should be compensated for their work, but things like Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Studio are ridiculously expensive.

completely agree, only reason those programs are so expensive is because they won't sell any where near as many copies as programs such as word so they have to make them more expensive to actually make a profit.

ogod this was posted in July. Am I banned for bumping?

Srsly, I tried being legal once, it pissed me off.

I bought a bunch of songs off iTunes for support and whatever, yeah it was a real heartfelt moment. Shortly after, of course, my hard drive crashes and I lose the songs. I decide to just re-download them. OH WAIT. iTunes policy states that everything on iTunes (excluding apps) can only be downloaded ONCE. So now I have to go through this huge thing and contact them, and they MIGHT let me download them.

You know what's a lot easier than spending money then losing your product? Not spending money and being able to re-download it whenever you want.
